Bird box

A quicky project, now spring is looming.

Apparently, I should have made this in the winter as birds suss out nesting spots well before spring, but hey ho. Sorry birds.

The hole is 28mm, which seems rathe rsmall, but apparently is just right for great tits, tree sparrows and pied flycatchers according to the RSPB and they should know.

Lots of planks of pine, recycled from my old welsh dresser I made back in the 1990s. This wood was recycled originally from the larder of a building next to the Oracle in Reading.

Self-countersinking pilot hole bit - handy
